REVERSITAIRE

Reversitaire is another famous classical board game, also known as Othello.

Although there is no formal proof of the game origin, two sources where Othello could came from are supposed: One is the Chinese game 'Fan Mian' , and the other is the game developed by Lewis Waterman and John W. Mollett in 1890s. In about 1970, Goro Hasegawa, a Japanese, had introduced modern rules for Othello, and now they are formally adopted around the world.

The rules of previous Reversi are by far simpler as compared to those of many other board games. However, easy learning doesn't mean easy playing.
