RINGTAIL ANIMATIONS

RINGTAIL ANIMATIONS is our "for fun" project. We just like the idea of creating an animated story about our small but lovely animal and concurrent demonstrating our experience and skills in modeling, texturing and animation.

So, after endless discussions about scenario for our first animation, a brief frame-by-frame storyboard was created; and we are going to animate it here in the nearest future.

In short, an idea is that...
...as all of us, Ringtail has a hobby; and his hobby is the same as ours - it is computer games. We like games, we do design for games, we create games by ourselves and, last but not least, sometimes (not at work time, of course ;) we play them. It happens that after hours of playing, it is even hard to tell where is the game and where is the reality...

Ones upon a time, Ringtail purchased the latest game named "Ringtail-Runner" in the shop near to his home. Ringtail was waiting for it for too a long time. And when he at last got it, the only Meerkat could do was playing, playing and playing. When playing his new game, Ringtail ...
 
Now, when storyboard is ready, we are working on modeling and texturing objects based on sketches developed by our artists.
 
Please, have a look of a few examples of Ringtail's belonging: some pieces of furniture and household things. Yes, our Ringtail is quite a modern creature, he does prefer living in comfort:

For the time being, there is a long way to go before the whole animation is completed: a number of objects still has to be modeled and textured, lots of animation and rendering have to be done.... but we are doing our best to create a great story :)
